The game was described by BioWare as "the most ambitious Mass Effect game to date", which is also the first game in the series to launch on the current generation of platforms.

There's no telling how long Mass Effect 2 will be On the House, so if you are even remotely interested in one day loading it up, go ahead and add it to your Origin library free of charge right now.

Mass Effect: Andromeda will also feature the traditional gameplay aspects, such as the choice-based story and dialogue tree, while new additions like a destructive environment, enhanced Biotics and weapons will impact the gameplay and combat system. The game will be launched on the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but it is delayed as it was initially expected to be released in the holiday season of 2016. Tonight, at CES 2017 in Las Vegas Nvidia revealed a number of new items and pieces of technology, one of which was some new gameplay for Mass Effect: Andromeda.

For such a marquee release, Electronic Arts has been strangely tight-lipped about Mass Effect: Andromeda, the latest game in BioWare's acclaimed space-opera series.

The developer confirmed that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will officially hit the screen on March 21, 2017, the same date that Microsoft previously leaked. We got some bad news for your: you will not be able to keep your promise. Here's a little bit of context into how we've gotten here. Mass Effect Andromeda takes place 600 years after the events of the first three Mass Effect games, in the Andromeda Galaxy.

If this game goes as in-depth as each individual player wants, that'll be huge.

"Coming back from holiday, the feedback has been great", reads the blog post. There's already a lot of talk from fans about what they would love to see on the console and how much they would love to have certain games, franchises, and developers working with Nintendo again. Tech looks to be more involved as you progress.
