In fact, the publisher has already offered the game for free last December 20. According to the screenshot, seen below, pre-load for windows will begin on 17th March, 2017 at 1 PM Eastern Daylight Time, just around four days before the game's actual release date.
However, one thing gamers won't need to worry about when the game arrives in a couple of months is a season pass, as BioWare appears to be doing away with this business practice.
And I fully expect Mass Effect: Andromeda to have DLC packs, but we'll have to pay for them a la carte like usual-but PC gamers will likely have to shell out for more BioWare Points. It has been hailed as the series' high point, as Gadgets360 noted.
