The former UFC heavyweight champion was suspended one year by USADA for failing two drug tests in relation to UFC 200 in July, the UFC's anti-doping partner announced Wednesday in a press release.

Per Marc Raimondi of MMA Fighting, Lesnar's USADA suspension stems from failing two drug tests leading into his fight against Mark Hunt at UFC 200. Lesnar's one-year ban is retroactive to that day. The 39-year-old originally defeated Hunt by unanimous decision, but the match was later deemed a no contest due to his failed drug tests.

The affair has led Hunt to pursue a legal case against UFC, where he hopes fighters will be stripped of their pay packet if they fail a drugs test.

Now, according to a report from MMA Junkie, USADA has also suspended Lesnar for one year.

Airbus adapts A380 deliveries following Emirates deferrals
The planemaker will accelerate cost cuts at the A380 operation to ensure that the "impact on break even in 2017 is minimal". This follows an agreement between Emirates and engine maker Rolls Royce and a consecutive deal between Airbus and Emirates.

The UFC 200 bout was Lesnar's first in the UFC since retiring from the promotion in 2011 following a loss to Alistair Overeem at UFC 141 and struggles with diverticulitis.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar has received a one-year ban from the sport following a doping violation.

USADA found clomiphene and 4-hydroxyclomiphene (a metabolite) in Lesnar's system from urine samples provided on June 28 and July 9 of past year.

USADA was not obligated to hand Lesnar the same sentence as the Nevada Commission. Furthermore, if an athlete retires during his or her period of ineligibility, the athlete's sanction will be tolled until such time the athlete notifies USADA of his or her return from retirement and once again makes him or herself available for no-advance-notice, out-of-competition testing.
