Loyd is charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder of a law enforcement officer, carjacking with a firearm, aggravated assault and wearing a bulletproof vest while committing an offense in connection with Clayton's death.
Demings said Loyd would be charged with two counts of first-degree murder in Dixon's death last month.
In court Thursday, Loyd told a judge someone else killed Dixon on December 9, a crime for which he already was facing five charges when Clayton spotted him outside of the Walmart.
Orlando police Chief John Mina said Markeith Loyd, 41, was flushed out of an abandoned house and taken into custody, ending a manhunt that began with the January 9 killing of Lt. Debra Clayton outside a Wal-Mart store.
Loyd says the portrayals in the media that he quote "just shot [Dixon]" put his family in danger.
Friday, Judge Jeanette Dejuras Bigney asked Loyd about legal representation, but Loyd only responded with questions.
Indeed, the Orlando Police Department released a video that showed Loyd getting kicked and stomped in the face - as the helicopter videographer quickly turns away from police beating Markeith.

"Unbelievably sad someone would vandalize Lt. Debra Clayton's vehicle", Orlando Police posted on its Twitter account. Loyd's face was bloodied when he resisted officers taking him into custody.
The judge said Thursday that Loyd would have a hearing in one week to determine counsel for him in the case over Dixon's death.
In all, investigators said 16 shots were fired over the course of about six seconds - eight by Loyd and eight by Clayton, the warrant said. After he stopped crawling, the officers approached him while he lay prone in the street.
Mina said Loyd suffered a fractured left orbital bone and damage to his eye. Loyd had to be hospitalized until Wednesday night, and was then jailed.
"Anyone who harbored, aided or abetted him in any way is going to be arrested, and we know from our investigation that people did assist him", Mina said. "After they handcuffed him, and searched him, pulled off his body armor, he had a large bag of ammunition".
Clayton was killed last week while trying to apprehend murder suspect Markeith Loyd.
As Clayton was on the radio with the dispatcher, three gunshots could be heard and the call went dead, investigators said.
