Facebook has been doing a lot of updates and upgrades to both mobile platforms, such as introducing the new Facebook Messenger features and changing how you can upload videos onto the app.

At the top of this new section, there are simulations which change depending on the current weather.

Facebook will also let users opt to receive weather reports, so they don't forget to pack an umbrella on a potentially rainy day.

Facebook has been displaying weather "greetings" for quite a while now, but the new feature gives users more flexibility and more information.

The company also claimed that over 95% of users can already access the new feature.

Iran to Reciprocate New US Sanctions
Trump has kept his displeasure at the Iran nuclear deal no secret and has voiced to dismantle it on various occasions. The entities include companies based in Tehran, the UAE, Lebanon and China.

The addition is now one of several new bookmarks Facebook has rolled out to its mobile app in recent days, following useful utilities like its "Wi-Fi finder, " a new networking (or even dating) section called "Discover People" and now Weather.

It is said that the idea behind implementing this feature is to ensure that the users stay hooked onto the Facebook app. Clicking a "See more weather info" button will take you to Weather.com for more details. The Weather section is added in the app's menu to check forecasts. Unfortunately, you can't swipe between multiple locations just yet.

This update can be viewed as an extension to the previous feature. You will be able to see the weather information whether you are on iOS or Android, and this is a unique feature that will help Facebook stand out. You can also get the temperature in either Celsius or Fahrenheit as per your convenience.

According to company's spokesperson, the objective behind the new weather section is "to develop products that connect people to the things they care about most". You will notice that all of the weather through the Facebook weather section is through the official Weather website.

This makes the feature feel more personalized, and Facebook-like, as the company has been using similar drawings in its News Feed informational messages for some time.
