Police believe part of Mead's body could be in a purple suitcase. Based on emerging information, investigators believe Mead was killed in Boulder and her body at least partially dismembered just outside of Shreveport. The remains have not been officially identified, but they have been tentatively identified as the remains of Ashley Mead, according to Boulder Police.
Boulder Police say investigators believe that parts of the body of a mother who had been reported missing earlier this week could be scattered across the country.
Boulder and Okmulgee police are working to determine to see if the female remains found Wednesday afternoon at a Murphy USA gas station dumpster are those of Mead, Cordingly said. Winter Mead was placed into child protective services.

After arresting Densmore, police found human remains in a dumpster at a gas station in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
Densmore's travel route between February 12 and 15 is being investigated, but Boulder police say detectives believe that Densmore left Boulder on Sunday for Raton, New Mexico.
Mead and her daughter were reported missing on Tuesday after she did not show up for work. She and her daughter were last seen in Boulder Sunday.
LaTresha Woodruff, spokeswoman for the Conway Police Department, confirmed that her agency was informed of Mead's disappearance and of Densmore's stay in Conway. On the morning of February 14th Densmore drove to Conway, Arkansas where he spent the night.
