Interestingly, the internal code name given to the company's grocery project in India is "Project Everest", as per the report. But here's the interesting bit: the company is reportedly looking into how VR and augmented reality (AR) could help it achieve that goal.
The store in Amazon's AMZN, +0.14% hometown of Seattle uses cameras, sensors and algorithms to watch customers and track what they pick up, according to the people.
