This regulation will depend on a number of factors, but the limitations should eliminate problems caused by apps constantly refreshing and updating their content, despite not being actively used. Android O is still at its earliest stages, and some things can still change drastically, for better or for worse. Google calculates that only 0.05 percent of all Android devices that got apps only from Google Play had a potentially harmful app installed at the end of 2016.
To be clear Google's definition of potentially harmful apps does not include annoying apps, such as those that are overly aggressive in collecting device identifiers and metadata because they don't "put Android users, user data, or devices at risk", the report said. Its official support account has been prompting users to install available app updates (particularly Google's), which will enable Google Assistant. Android can now handle multitasking reliably, so you can work efficiently.

Companies Kvetch At Google For Pairing Ads With Extremist Content
Google's European chief has apologised to its clients after several brands pulled advertising from YouTube over extremist content. That set off another round of advertisers scrambling to understand how and when their ads appear online.
Good one, Google! Now, if only those updates could arrive a little bit faster. The latest update for Android 7.1.2 Nougat beta comes with a new multitasking user interface added to the Pixel C device. In addition, first-party phones like the Google Pixel and Android One series were designed, in part, to get security updates out more quickly to users. Aside from that, the new operating system also let users perform multiple tasks simultaneously. But now with Android O, all Android mobiles will boast the ability to multitask with video.
New Android releases are nearly always welcomed by Android users, but power users, especially those who routinely root their devices, have mixed feelings. The new LG G6 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 line have it, and, now, so do two other popular flagships. Maybe, it will provide the full-fledged support in the next update for Android O.
