Reality television star Kim Kardashian has finally given a first-hand account of being robbed at gunpoint in Paris previous year, an experience she said has helped her grow and become a better person.

The reality TV star said she "mentally prepped" herself after fearing she would be sexually assaulted as she spoke about her ordeal on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. "They're going to rape me, '" Kardashian said through tears.

She also addressed rumours that she staged the robbery in the episode, saying "why would anyone make that up".

The episode shows Kim in the weeks following the robbery, explaining to her sisters Kourtney, 37, and Khloe Kardashian, 32, that her mouth was duct taped to stop her from screaming. "They had this window of opportunity and just went for it", she added.

"I remember, I was like practically naked, hiding in a bush on the balcony", she stated and added that when the police came, she could hardly distinguish if they were really the authorities.

Kardashian, who was afraid she would be sexually assaulted, or worse, said she pleaded with the robbers to let her go because she is a mother to two young children.

I wonder if the effort to get Kim and Kendall to model them is to show off the shoe's unisex potential.

Wow! We can see why Kanye would be upset about the episode; this was one of the scariest moments of his life, and he doesn't want to relieve how he felt that day, knowing that his wife had been attacked and gravely threatened. They then grabbed her in the hallway of the stairs.

"Am I gonna run down the stairs and, like, either be shot in the back... It makes me so upset to think about it", she said.

According to Kim, she contemplated escape but realised that there was ultimately nothing she could do to get away from the situation.

The episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians airs on E! in the United Kingdom on Sunday.
