He was sent to Bucks County Prison on $100,000 bail.

A 45-year-old male nurse at a Bucks County dermatology office was charged Monday with secretly recording videos of eight undressed female patients, including a 17-year-old girl, prosecutors said.

Lower Makefield police say 45-year-old James Close, of Abington, who works at Penn Medicine Dermatology, was arrested on February 13 after a 17-year-old patient noticed that an iPhone on the ground had been videotaping whileshe was undressed.

The phone was traced to Close, who was the licensed practical nurse and technician assigned for the girl's treatments, authorities tell the news stations. After obtaining a search warrant, investigators say they found approximately 18 videos on Close's phone which depicted the teen and seven additional victims who received treatment under his care.

That's when she realized the phone was recording live video- and it had been recording her in the nude for about 25 seconds. The additional charges are three counts of filming a nude child, three counts of criminal use of a communication facility, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and 34 counts of invasion of privacy. She immediately handed the iPhone over to facility staff. Authorities say the phone belonged to Close.

Police said Close's voice is recognizable on the videos and his face is even spotted in one - a 49-second clip that shows one victim's breasts during a visit. In each video, according to court records, four of the women are completely nude and one is nude below her torso. He was to be arraigned on Tuesday but now held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility on a $100,000 bail.

A total of 18 videos depicting nude patients were recorded on Close's phone between January 18 and February 13.

"We are appalled at the actions of this former employee and are cooperating fully with the police as they investigate this very disturbing matter", Penn Medicine said in a statement Monday.
