"Both Condrey and Schofield underscored the fact that Call of Duty: WWII is about a squad's remarkable journey of personal growth and heroism across Europe in World War II, and is a story about common men and women doing uncommon things to preserve freedom".

Call of Duty: WWII will be released for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 3, 2017.

We have plenty of information on Call of Duty: WW2, which was revealed earlier today via a livestream. Developer Sledgehammer Games is gunning to create an intense, edge-of-your-seat experience with Call of Duty: WWII, and the official story synopsis gives you a brief overview of the narrative at hand.

Not to be outdone by its single-player campaign, Call of Duty: WWII will also include a full complement of multiplayer modes. "Experience classic Call of Duty combat, the bonds of camaraderie, and the unforgiving nature of war against a global power throwing the world into tyranny", the description went on to say.

Now, it's not exactly something new under the sun that, come another year, Activision arrives just like the Easter Bunny with a new Call of Duty game.

Saudi king names son as US envoy as ties boosted with Trump
Minister of Communications Muhammad Al-Suwail has been relieved and Muhammad Al-Sawaha was appointed as new minister. King Salman has sacked key officials, including the head of the army embroiled in Yemen's conflict.

Though heavily used in World War II, the BAR was not straight up shown during the reveal, but was seen at various angles throughout the trailer. Joining Allied forces from the United Kingdom and the French Resistance, across the beaches of Normandy, to the liberation of Paris and ultimately into Germany, the squad must fight alongside a global and diverse cast of characters to achieve victory.

Activision also seems acutely aware that the long-term draw of a COD game is its multiplayer and they are taking the opportunity in COD: WWII to elevate that element of the game with deeper customization and more variety to the MP than we've previously seen out of any COD game. The new title will do the same, this time enlisting the player in the 1st Infantry Division as Allied forces take the beach at Normandy, then move across France toward Berlin. Following the reveal, E3 attendees will be able to try the multiplayer.

Later this year, Activision will be hosting a private multiplayer beta for those who pre-order the game, but no date for the stress test was announced by Hirshberg during the event.

In terms of the game's story, it will be set in World War 2 between the years of 1944 and 1945. "And, our co-operative mode delivers a unique storyline that's an all-new take on Nazi Zombies that we think fans are going to love".
