The National Weather Service in Portland has issued a High Wind Watch.which is in effect from Friday morning through Friday afternoon.
Gusty winds are expected to develop in parts of Riverside and San Bernardino counties Monday afternoon and evening. Isolated power outages may be possible as well due to the winds and tree limbs being blown down. Strong winds out of the northeast could create some of the highest waves along the Lake Michigan shoreline since October 31, 2014, when the water flooded parts of Lake Shore Drive.
The warning is in effect from Noon to 11 p.m. Tuesday.
