White House press secretary Sean Spicer on Tuesday refused to answer questions about Jared Kushner's reported efforts to establish a secret communications channel with the Kremlin using Russian facilities.

He is respected by virtually everyone and is working on programs that will save our country billions of dollars.
Trump also said he trusts his 36-year-old senior adviser, Kushner, because he is a very good person.
Trump struck back Sunday, after maintaining a limited social media presence throughout his nine-day trip.
"But I think the thing that happened this weekend that is really important that people missed because they're so giddy about this story about Kushner, is that it blew up the collusion conspiracy", he explained, "because if there had actually been a collusion conspiracy, there would already be back channels to Russian Federation". Michael Flynn, since fired as the president's national security advisor for his Russian associations, was also at the meeting.

U.S. Senator John McCain, a key foreign affairs figure in Congress, said he views Russian Federation and its president, Vladimir Putin, as the "greatest challenge we have", even more so than that posed by Islamic State terrorists.
Nevertheless, some critics have called for Kushner's security clearance to be revoked, while others say he should temporarily step aside while his ties to Moscow are being reviewed. At the time, a White House official dismissed it as a brief courtesy meeting.
Rep. Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the House intelligence committee, said Sunday on ABC that USA officials need to get to the bottom of the allegations against Kushner, including if Kushner was not honest about his Russian Federation contacts during the security clearance process.
