A day after threatening to subpoena President Donald Trump's one-time campaign manager, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley said he might subpoena the president's son.

In the letter sent Tuesday, Chuck Grassley notes that Natalia Veselnitskaya said she was denied a visa to the USA and that, while she was subsequently granted "immigration parole" to travel in 2015, her parole expired on January 7, 2016, and a request to extend was denied.

But those close to Manafort maintain he's done nothing wrong - in fact, they think Manafort's involvement in this whole thing is completely unlike that of Trump Jr. and Jared Kushner, who was also at the meeting.

The Congressional investigation into Russia interference in the 2016 Presidential election was tensed on Wednesday after the legislators planned to question the former leader of the #trump campaign and decide whether the Russian social network trolls were involved in the short-term electoral efforts.

On Sunday, Trump Jr. issued a statement, in which he said it had become clear during the meeting that Veselnitskaya had no meaningful information on the Democratic National Committee's links with Russia-connected individuals.

Also Wednesday, Grassley flagged another potential violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act in a letter to Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Secretary of Homeland Security John Kelly.

The problem, the court said, was that the trial judge's instructions to the jury fell short of the standard set by the U.S. Prosecutors may retry Silver, a 73-year-old Democrat from Manhattan who served more than two decades as Assembly speaker.

Spider Man makes Homecoming
Being a high school student, we could see a level of dynamic the character could not exhibit in the previous films. The film comes out on July 7th, and I'll rave more about it then, but just know that it's an incredibly good time.

The draft pick is the Thunder's 2018 first-round choice, acquired by Utah in the 2015 Enes Kanter trade, and is top 14 protected. The deal was reported by the Associated Press just minutes after free agency's official 11 p.m. central start time.

Trump Jr. chose a friendly venue, Fox News, to downplay the meeting Tuesday night.

"It was in the previous administration [and] if there had been enforcement of the immigration laws, she wouldn't have been in the country", said Grassley.

Grassley said there will be a hearing within days on the lax enforcement.

However, Veselnitskaya was able to come into the United States, after requesting a meeting with Donald Trump Jr. through an intermediary promising damaging information on political opponent Hillary Clinton.

Manfort left the Trump campaign shortly after the 2016 RNC Convention in Cleveland, which is when Kellyanne Conway, who now serves as a special advisor to President Trump, took over.

Both Trump Jr. and Veselnitskaya have claimed that the Russian attorney did not provide any information about Clinton.

Working in consultation with the White House to select a nominee, including an hour-long meeting with Trump and several phone calls, Grassley said in June he was pleased with the selection process.
