There have been a number of reports that Wonder Woman 2 will see Diana during the Cold War in the 1980's and that Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) will return in some capacity.

Over on Al Jazeera, writer Susan Abulhawa has presented a well-considered case as to why Wonder Woman isn't a feminist film. Although many gave the movie little or no chance at all, it became Warner Bros most critically successful film. It doesn't matter that the film's (highly-talented) director is a woman. Wonder Woman would be coming to the U.S. this time around and the movie will likely to be set in modern times.

Last year, she and director Patty Jenkins dropped the first trailer for Wonder Woman to a rapturous reception. Warner Bros.is not saying much about the inevitable follow-up to the smash hit, but the studio did flash a title card with the words "Wonder Woman II" during its Comic-Con presentation Saturday.

Gadot made an appearance at the news-packed panel, along with other members of the "Justice League" cast. It doesn't matter that the woman at the centre of the movie is her own independent self.

BBC Forced to Disclose Stars' Salaries, Revealing Huge Gender Gap
A number of the top earners are newsreaders, and within the BBC questions are being asked about why the job merits such high pay. Of the 43,000 talent contracts with the BBC a year ago , less than a quarter of one per cent were paid more than £150,000.

Comic Con was the bearer of great news this weekend as Warner Bros announced that Wonder Woman 2 is officially on its schedule.

'[Patty] She did come to me, and at the time I was either working on something or I don't know.

If you've ever met someone you've idolised, it can be a bit overwhelming for some - especially when you're a young fan and it's Wonder Woman. May we never doubt her power again.
