BJP has said that it is ready to discuss on all issues in Parliament.

"Every issue that affects national security and national interest is a matter of concern for each one of the 125 crore Indians".

Former Finance Minister P Chidambaram has said in advance that GST roll-out will be raised during the session since the law in its present form is not the law that was originally drafted by his party, the Congress said on Sunday. "As a responsible and principled Opposition party, we shall be raising all these issues and many more", Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala said.

"The Congress will demand inclusion of petroleum, electricity and real estate in the GST", Surjewala said.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar said that apart from 16 new bills, 21 bills are pending in Lok Sabha, while 42 bills are pending in Rajya Sabha, many of which would be considered for passing during the session.

To counter the opposition's onslaught, the government is also gearing up. Speculations are rife that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) might come up with a name for Vice-Presidential nominee in the evening. He will also address NDA members of Parliament. The Prime Minister also called on all the parties to support the war against corruption, which has been initiated by the government.The Prime Minister also mentioned that the highest level of dignity has been maintained in the whole process of Presidential Election till now and no situation of any bitterness surfaced among the political parties.

"This is impossible, unless the government plans to pass all these bills and grants in the din minus any discussion".

Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan on Sunday said all parties have assured that the monsoon session will proceed without any ruckus or uproar.
