The scandal erupted on Tuesday after Ayesha Gulalai, a National Assembly member from the conservative Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, announced she was quitting Khan's opposition Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, alleging that he had no respect for women and had sent her obscene text messages.
The resolution read, "Imran Khan behaved immorally with member National Assembly Ayesha Gulalai and the fearless people of our tribal areas which damaged the respect of the people of this province".
The petitioner said that Gulalai failed to provide any proof to media regarding her statements and hence she was no more Sadiq and Amin because of leveling allegations without proof. Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi also assured the provision of round-the-clock security for the lawmaker after she claimed that she was scared for her life.
"This is an issue concerning the house's integrity - I will suggest forming a closed-door, special committee to probe the allegations and present its findings in the house", Abbasi told parliament. But, he said Shamsul Qayyum, the father of Gulalai, used her for the sake of money only.

Gulalai, who unleashed a tirade of scathing allegations against PTI bigwigs including the chairman Imran Khan, revealed that she received a marriage proposal from Naeem Ul Haque while substantiating her claims that PTI was being disrespectful towards women.
