Four others drowned as another boat sank in the Naf River Tuesday night, local authorities say. Another woman and a child have already been buried.

Aid workers have told horror stories of desperate refugees staggering to safety despite bullet wounds and burn injuries. He reiterated the fact that India is not a signatory to any of the Refugee Conventions and therefore is not bound to host the Rohingyas.
The principle of non-refoulement - or not sending back refugees to a place where they face danger - is considered part of customary worldwide law and is binding on all states whether they have signed the Refugee Convention or not.
Photographs from the scene showed the bodies of several small children lined up on the ground, covered with sheets. Bangladesh also rejects them.
