The Alexandria teen made her escape on Tuesday.

The mother reiterated her request for privacy, writing that their family had been apart for four weeks and need their space.

According to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Block was last seen at her home in Alexandria on August 8 around 10:30 p.m.

Police say Block knew Barker and got into his auto when he said he needed help.

She was driven to his home where he zip-tied her and invited two other friends over. She says she was confined to the closet in Barker's house, which had a television and a fan in it. "She's thinking he's trusting and honest, she goes 'I'll just go with you right now.' So she gets in the auto, except he takes her to Carlos and ties her up". Wyffels said that during the 29 days of her kidnapping the men had transported Block to several different locations, including the foreclosed home the teenager had finally escaped from in Grant County.

Holby and Powers allegedly assaulted the teen on later dates.

She then started knocking on doors to several homes and then swam across part of awhere she spotted a person and sought help. She concurred, got in his vehicle and they headed to his home. "Don't call them or anything". Two of the suspects are from Carlos, Minnesota, ages 32 and 31.

Block was treated for minor injuries at the Douglas County Hospital. The girl was last seen by her mother around 10:30 p.m the previous night laying on a recliner suffering from a migraine.

Wyffels said the public is in no danger. We think a lot of her and her family. Her mom was strong for this whole time and consistent and never gave up. "They're all wonderful people".

This is an active, ongoing investigation.

Investigators also are asking farmers in Pope, Grant and Douglas counties to check their cornfields for damage associated with vehicles driving through them, and for anglers at the lake to report the discovery of any clothing. When she approached a farmer after swimming across the lake, he instantly recognized who she was because of all the concern and awareness that was raised during the search.
