That image may have just been reinforced by the fact that the new BlackBerry Motion, previously codenamed "Krypton", is more your traditional Android smartphone, all screen and no special tricks up its sleeves.
The BlackBerry KEYone has an excellent battery life with its frugal processor and a rather large 3,505mAh battery. There's also a Convenience Key that works more than a shortcut key because it allows users to actually customize four different profile pages for Home, Car, Office and User. The 5.5-inch display offers a Full HD resolution and a 401 ppi pixel density. Motion will pack a 12 MP camera module on the back with f/2.0 aperture and an 8 MP camera sensor on the front. Both devices run Google's Android software and the Motion will ship with version 7.1 Nougat.
Starting from today, the BlackBerry Motion is available on pre-orders in UAE with a pricing of Dh 1,699 (~$462) and in Saudi Arabia for 1,699 Riyal (~$453). The native or internal storage now available on the Motion is 32 GB.
The device has a USB Type-C port for charging and a 4000mAh with support for fast charging technology gives the necessary power to the smartphone.

Mount Agung's status was raised to the highest level last week and authorities have imposed a 12 km exclusion zone around it. On Sunday night more than 300 tremors were recorded with smoke rising from the crater to a height of 200 meters.
A well-respected leaker has posted a photo of what he calls the "BlackBerry Motion" smartphone.
Rumours also suggest that the smartphone will have a home button with a fingerprint scanner - a feature that appears to be confirmed in Mr Blass' photo. The Blackberry Motion is going to be available initially only in a few markets and then will be followed in a few other markets.
Motion is BlackBerry's newly launched mid-range device that comes with a full touch-screen form factor similar to the DTEK50 and DTEK50 devices that were launched in 2016. That'll enable 50% rercharging in 40 minutes.
Separately, the BlackBerry Motion handset also rolls out with a host of features involving security suites that the company has become popular for.
