As reported, the fight was over a personal dispute rather than a scramble for the best sales, and the women were left with minor injuries.

The Galleria opened to shoppers at 6 p.m. Thursday and was set to close at midnight before reopening again at 6 a.m. for Black Friday. In the midst of the fight, she said she saw a shoe fly over the railing and hit a baby on the first level.

No arrests were made.

The Black Friday 2017 brawl ended up hurting other shoppers.

Additionally, a man in Columbia (Mo.) is being treated for a gunshot wound after being shot in the parking lot of a local mall. The statement also said "no major incidents were reported".

"Last night at approximately 11:20 P.M., Hoover Police responded to a fight outside of Buckle at the Riverchase Galleria". Mall security had to call Hoover police to intervene. Hale says two teenage girls got into an altercation inside the mall around 11:30 p.m. New York Daily News reports that the reason for the shooting is unclear.

There's now no information on any injuries or arrest from the fights.
