Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said there were "no survivors" of the crash at Bartow Municipal Airport in Bartow, Florida.

Olivia Shannon, 24, was a student at Southeastern University in Lakeland.

The pilot was identified as 70-year-old John Shannon, an attorney from Lakeland, Florida.

Officials said they believe fog was a factor in the crash. Victoria Shannon Worthington, 26, and her husband, Peter Worthington Jr., 27, also were on board. Among them was a Baltimore city school teacher and a University of Maryland law student.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the Shannon, Worthington, and Clayton families".

The family planned to take a day trip to Key West before returning later Sunday, Judd said.
