GBC understands the situation at London airports has been chaotic.
A number of flights from the United Kingdom to Ireland have been cancelled because of snow.
Heathrow is advising passengers that "disruption continues today following yesterday's weather" and that passenger's must check the status of their flight before departing for the airport.
The 11am British Airways flight from London Heathrow to Newcastle; the 12:40pm and the 4:45pm KLM flight from Amsterdam to Newcastle.
British Airways was worst affected, with 24 long-haul departures cancelled as well as dozens of short-haul flights.
Both British Airways and Heathrow apologised for the "problems and inconvenience".
. "As a result of the forecast of continued bad weather we have agreed with Heathrow Airport, National Air Traffic Services (NATS) and other airlines to reduce our flight schedule from Heathrow on Monday December 11".

Heathrow flights and those to and from Luton Airport faced delays due to poor weather conditions.
A BA spokeswoman added: "We're very sorry that some of our customers' travel plans have been affected by severe weather conditions. Like other airlines, we are experiencing some delays and cancellations". However, we regret that weather conditions across the United Kingdom are resulting in some passengers experiencing disruption to their travel arrangements.
"The safety and comfort of our passengers is always our first priority and we are working closely with our airlines to ensure affected passengers are looked after".
A spokesman for Glasgow Airport said there were 17 cancellations in total: "We're open and fully operational, however, we've experienced a number of cancellations".
At least 50,000 passengers were forced to wait for the recovery of worldwide air traffic departures as well as inbound flights, Sputnik reported, citing The Independent.
