Google has now removed the offended apps.

The worst of the ads come in the form of adult content that children have been exposed to due to the accessibility of the games included within the selection of applications.

Once that's done, it'll send your device's data to the server so that it can determine how to display these illegitimate/unwanted ads. Further to that, it loads up those warnings about the phon being infected - and then prompts users to download fake security apps, which introduce a second layer of malware.

This malware is called AdultSwine and it affects your smartphones in three major ways. They have also said, that the advertisements running within the apps weren't supplied by them, and were third party ads. In another screenshot, one of the apps that were taken down reportedly showed a full-screen ad with the message: "New Leaked Kim Kardashian Pictures!" The malicious software were reportedly displaying pornographic ads and tried to trick users into purchasing premium services, according to Check Point.

Google has removed around 60 apps infected with the malware from its Play Store.

Alabama spent an estimated $250 million to woo Daimler AG's Mercedes-Benz to put an auto plant in Tuscaloosa in two decades ago. It produces most of the cars and trucks it sells in the U.S.at those USA plants and exports some of those cars to other markets.

AdultSwine also attempted to get the user to sign up for premium services, such as text messaging scams, which would charge the victim and generate profit for the attackers. Also, I went through a of the more popular apps on the list of affected apps and found that there were still a handful of these affected applications in the Play Store.

Researchers at Check Point warned that while the majority of AdultSwine's functionality amounted to annoyance and small financial burdens, it had the potential to be much more damaging and could have been used to steal login credentials from victims, which could lead to sensitive information being compromised.

Effective protection from attack by these malicious apps, requires users to install advanced mobile threat defense solutions such as Check Point Zone Alarm on all mobile devices.

All of these - Check Point highlighted - are displayed to children while playing the game that the app is masquerading as.

Tech giant Google declared on Friday that it took down 60 gaming applications after new malicious softwares were discovered in the gaming programs. Additionally, it informed that the accounts of the developers were disabled and that the warnings will be continually shown on any person's phone who had downloaded the app. "We appreciate Check Point's work to help keep users safe".
