Based on a script by Lawrence and Jon Kasdan, Solo: A Star Wars Story stars Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca, Emilia Clarke, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Michael K. Williams and Woody Harrelson. Known for his work in the Star Wars franchise, Williams spoke on his involvement with the project. "He will write all the rest of the themes and all of the other material, which I'm going to be very anxious to hear". If true, then we'll move directly from The Last Jedi, into the excitement of another Star Wars film premiering in just five months.
Writing the theme for 2018's standalone film about Han Solo will be Williams' ninth Star Wars assignment.
Williams' relationship with Star Wars goes back to the first one, for which he won a Best Original Score Oscar.

Astute fans can instantly notice the fact that these don't look like the controls of Han Solo's iconic spaceship, the Millennium Falcon.
"Solo: A Star Wars Story" will premiere in US cinemas on May 25, 2018.
