The resort underwent emergency repairs to pass inspection in November, the newspaper reported.
The November inspection also found violations in the kitchen area, but none that were serious enough to force a failing score. The two main kitchens were cited for improper food storage, which included milk stored at less-than-optimum temperature, hot dogs stored on the ground of the walk-in freezer and curry sauce that dated back to October 21.

Like every business that serves food and provides lodgings, the president's club, which costs $200,000 in initiation fees alone, is checked yearly by the state of Florida. The B&B was cited for two high priority violations "which could pose a direct or significant threat" to the public, according to the inspection code.
Regardless, news of Mar-a-Lago's citations fueled further criticism of Trump, with some seeing it as a metaphor for his presidency.

The club was re-checked November 17, a week before Trump's return for his Thanksgiving vacation, and this time "met inspection standards", according to the state inspection report. The kitchens passed the inspection, however, and did not need to be rechecked. They also found two out-of-order coolers that grew so warm they could have spoiled fresh food.
Since Trump became president, fighter jets have intercepted 15 planes, and Coast Guard helicopters have intercepted three aircraft, according to NORAD.
Before taking office, Trump was personally involved in the day-to-day operations of the club and health violations were relatively low.
This isn't the first time Mar-a-Lago's catering services have prompted sanitation concerns. According to financial disclosure forms filed by Trump, the club had $29.7 million in revenue from June 2015 to May 2016.
