The site is putting the Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact release dates as "sometime in March". And while those specs make the phones feel new, their thick top and bottom bezels look very 2016. We've been hearing rumors that Sony's next flagships would be a radical departure in terms of design, and now that has been confirmed with a new leak from VentureBeat. The phones will be powered by Qualcomm's aforementioned 2018 flagship system-on-chip: the Snapdragon 845.
The XZ2 will come in four different colors - silver, pink, black and green - and has 3D glass on both sides, attached to an aluminum frame. That's actually a larger battery than is rumoured for the Samsung, but Sony's 4K display will use up more power - so don't expect to see massive battery life gains. But now, the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona is set to mark Sony's disassociation from the bezel phones as the company is slated to announce its fresh new flagships, namely the Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact.

The XZ2 Compact, on the other hand, has a polycarbonate finish with the full HD LCDs incorporated on both phones being protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass 5. Both smartphones will feature Full HD (1920x1080) screen resolutions.

Shaky Barcelona down Eibar
Lionel Messi and co will have their minds set on securing their first place La Liga position when they head to Eibar on Saturday. But having passed their Eibar exam, Tuesday's trip to Stamford Bridge represents an altogether tougher test for Valverde's side.
At the back, you get the same single 19MP camera with f/1.8 aperture, 4K HDR recording and super-slow motion capture as the Xperia XZ Premium, alongside a uniquely positioned fingerprint reader that will actually be functional in the U.S. for once. According to Evan Blass, the famous leaker, the company has two phones named Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact in it's pipeline. In addition, the phone will boast a fingerprint scanner.
The XZ2 will get its juice from a 3180 mAh battery, while the XZ2 Compact will feature a 2870 mAh unit. The XZ2 model adds on to the high quality audio feature with a haptic feedback mechanism that adjusts and appropriates the vibrations to the speaker's sound.
