The company controls an estimated one percent of the mobile phone global market share and is continuing last year's strategy of Nokia nostalgia by releasing updates of old classic feature phones.

HMD Global, the Finnish company with the license to make devices with the name of Nokia has launched five new phones at MWC, now being held at Barcelona.

Software and Performance: Nokia 8110 4G is a basic feature phone, running on KaiOS ( a forked version of defunct Firefox OS) which HMD Global calls "Smart Feature OS".

The phone comes with a 2-megapixel camera, FM radio and everyone's favorite Snake game.

If you're looking for something a little more midrange, the Nokia 8 Sirocco is joined by the Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 6 devices.

HMD Global has returned with a new retro phone to tug at our nostalgic heartstrings.

Its iconic curved slider, which covers all of the 8810's hardware buttons is, naturally, one of its key features and biggest selling points.

Singapore pricing and exact date of availability will be announced later.

Next was the turn of the Nokia 1.

Last year's Nokia 6, while retaining the 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 pixel display, and a 16 MP rear camera; has been upgraded to be powered by Snapdragon 630 and run on Android Oreo 8.0. The company's flagship offering Nokia 8 Sirocco comes with new camera app which looks very similar to the one seen in the Lumia phones default camera app i.e the Lumia Camera. If features a six-inch display, dual cameras on both front and back of the device - as well as optical zoom capabilities.

The Verge reports that all three Android One handsets will hit the European Union in April. The Nokia 6 and 7 Plus still have headphone jacks, though the 8 Sirocco casts it away. The device comes with 128GB of Internal Storage Memory as built-in memory. But if you want something more tangible-an item that is a literal callback to the past- then whoa, Nokia just dialed up the flawless item for you. There is also a much larger 3,260mAh battery and wireless charging support. So those looking for long battery life might be fine with the weight, especially as Nokia touts two-day battery life. Although its first attempt to connect the next billion through a wave of low-priced, quality mobile phones based around the Android ecosystem - aka Android One - failed to set the cash counters ringing, Google believes, there's still hope.
