Seven schoolchildren have reportedly been killed and another 12 injured after being attacked by a knife-wielding man near their school in north-west China.
Male born in 1990 on April 20 this year in Shaanxi province attacked the children when they returned home after the school day.
A suspect is said to be in police custody.

According to the BBC, Chinese police say his given surname is Zhao and he is a 28-year-old former student at the school. Residents rushed for assistance, carrying the injured in their arms.
Nine students have been stabbed to death outside a school in northern China. The suspect was promptly detained.
Last night, The Paper reported that people packed public squares in Mizhi and Suide counties as well as Yulin in order to donate blood to the victims of the attack.
Private gun ownership is strictly prohibited in China so mostly knives and homemade explosives are used in violent crimes.
