Vice President Mike Pence spoke to NBC News on Thursday and urged special counsel Robert Mueller to end his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 US presidential election.

Mueller is probing whether any Trump associates colluded with Russian Federation during the 2016 campaign, among other issues involving the president's aides.

President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence will be in Indiana Thursday.

The administration has denied any wrongdoing and Trump routinely calls the probe a "witch hunt".

His comments come just one day after President Trump withdrew from the Iran nuclear accord. "And I would respectfully encourage the special counsel and his team to bring their work to completion".
