'She was also the campaign manager, so whatever she did that'll be looked at too, I'm sure, ' he said.
Right now on the front page of FoxNews.com the lead story is about the Democratic opponent of Duncan Hunter, the indicted firebrand Republican U.S. Congressman charged with improperly spending a quarter-million dollars in campaign contributions.
Hunter in the interview said he gave his wife power of attorney when he deployed as a Marine to Iraq in 2003 and that she has handled his finances throughout his five terms in office.
"I really do believe that Duncan Hunter was once a man of integrity, and he served our country and risked life and limb so that me and you could even have the luxury to have this conversation -- me and you both luxuriate under the shade of freedom that he's provided us", he told ABC News.
CNN reports that since the allegations first surfaced in 2016 Hunter has repaid approximately $US65,000 ($88,348) of the $US250,000 ($339,800) in misspent funds. In March 2010, for example, the indictment alleges that Hunter spent more than $120 at Birchmere Music Hall with that congressman and two others, and the next month, Hunter claimed a $256 reimbursement for driving his vehicle on a trip to Virginia Beach with the same group.

Hazard Urged to Stay at Chelsea by Fabregas
Hazard, 27, has two years left on his current Stamford Bridge deal and he wants to leave the club. Sarri appears more diplomatic about recruiting and retaining players.
Ammar Campa-Najjar has briefly responded to Fox News' headline highlighting how he is the grandson of a terrorist directly involved in the 1972 Munich massacre.
It was the attention, he said, his campaign deserved.
The California Republican and his wife, Margaret, entered their pleas in federal court, where prosecutors said bond could be set low because the couple is living paycheck to paycheck. Though he initially said he would remain in the race despite the charges, Collins dropped his re-election bid just three days later.
The indictment listed alleged use of campaign money to pay for tuition for his children's private school, video games, dental work, lavish dinners and movie tickets.
He went on to assert that the charges come from politically-motivated Democrats in the Department of Justice trying to sink his reelection effort. They overdrew their bank account more than 1,100 times in a seven-year period, racking up more than $37,000 in overdraft fees. "As far as I know, we've got no legal way for Duncan to get off the ballot and somebody else to get on".
His lawyers said in 2017 that Hunter and his wife repaid the campaign about $60,000.
