Mrs. Trump is visiting Africa on her first extended solo global tour as First Lady.

Mrs Trump visited the Ridge Hospital in Accra (Greater Accra Region of Ghana) where she interacted with mothers and babies in their unit. "I will never forget the incredible experience and the stories that I heard".

"The dungeons that I saw, it's really something that people should see and experience", she told reporters.

President Trump denied sleeping with Daniels, real name Stephanie Clifford, in 2006, a year after getting married to Melania, and shortly after she gave birth to their son Barron.

While speaking about her experience on Wednesday, the first lady said she was "very emotional" during her visit to the historic site, and described it as something she would "never forget".

Mrs. Trump arrived in the West African nation on Tuesday to open her first extended solo worldwide tour.

Before leaving the compound, the first lady laid a wreath, observed a moment of silence and signed a guest book, writing: "Thank you for your warm welcome".

Prior to her tour at the Cape Coast Castle, Trump participated in the ritual of asking permission of Ghana King Osabarimba Kwesi Atta II to visit the grounds.

But Trevor was also quick to question why Melania was going to take her campaign about cyberbullying to a place where many were struggling with even getting online.

The first lady was led around the facility by museum director Kwesi Essel-Blankson.

The US First Lady cuddled some babies at the hospital, before also donating a phototherapy machine, teddy bears and assorted baby items.

She arrived in the West African nation of Ghana after an overnight flight from Washington and quickly made her way to the Greater Accra Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Trump replied that she was "very honored" to be there, accepting a gift of Kente cloth and slippers as a remembrance of the trip.

With the Africa visit, the first lady aims to take "Be Best" and its focus on opioid abuse and online behaviour to an global audience.

The first lady's five-day, four-country tour will also include stops in Malawi, Kenya and Egypt.
