Solskjaer says attacking philosophy is in the DNA of the club and that he has every intention of making his side play that way.

Former United reserve team manager Solskjaer worked with Pogba during the Frenchman's first spell at Old Trafford.

Pogba has now scored seven times in 22 appearances for the Red Devils in all competitions this season.

If the Norwegian needs to make changes then he can look towards his bench, where he has options including Marouane Fellaini and academy graduate Angel Gomes.

The performance, for sure, was a very good one at Old Trafford.

"I said the same to these lads as I do back in Molde: Work harder than them, enjoy yourselves, pass it forward, run forward, if you lose it, I don't mind as long as you work to win it back and they did".

Before sitting down for his post-match news conference, Solskjaer said he wanted to relay a message from "the boss", which asked whether the gathered media were missing him.

"He's always been a happy boy, big smile on his face and when you score two you're happy and he should be".

"But when you play football for Man United you should be happy". These players have shown that they have the never-say-die spirit that United has always had.

Whereas Solskjær thrived on the atmosphere at United's home, some of the club's players have struggled with the pressure. That save must be one of the best I've seen.

"It's special to walk out there, hearing the crowd again singing my song - normally they started after I scored a goal, not before the game after I walked out!"

"You would think that's really nice". "I picked a team I thought could win the game and I trusted the players".

"Everything between the two goals - how we defended, our commitment, determination, effort and how we created opportunities in offence - was positive". Huddersfield at least claimed a late consolation as substitute Steve Mounie outjumped Pogba to head on an 88th minute Pritchard free-kick, setting up Mathias Jorgensen who slotted in from close range.
