The New England Patriots now look like a completely different team than they did just a month ago.

Former Raiders cornerback Charles Woodson, who hit Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and forced him to fumble on that fateful play, gave his take on the Saints-Rams call in the tweet below.

For a time Sunday evening at Kansas City's frigid Arrowhead Stadium, doubt crept in about the inevitability of the outcome. "The one thing I respect about the refs today is that they let the guys compete and they let the guys play", said Rams head coach Sean McVay. He ran the table.

"I'm too old. You're too slow".

A Rex Burkhead touchdown in overtime led the Patriots to victory with a 37-31 win over the Chiefs. The difference in age between Brady and Goff, more than 17 years, will be the largest between starting quarterbacks in Super Bowl history, according to the NFL.

Speaking of fixing rules. you perhaps have heard what happened to the Saints.

The Chiefs were trailing 14-0 after the Patriots controlled the ball for the majority of the first half. Los Angeles defensive back Nickell Robey-Coleman clearly ran into New Orleans receiver Tommylee Lewis before Drew Brees pass arrived on the scene.

The Chiefs would ultimately score 24 points in the fourth quarter thanks to some big plays by their odds-on-favorite MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who helped send this game into overtime.

'And then to get a phone call.' Payton said before his voice trailed off. We spoke initially, then I called to follow up.

"Then throughout the second drive it was the same thing, it was spotty for whatever reason and so first trying to hear Sean [McVay] was hard", Goff said. We got no defense.

Even Robey-Coleman knew he was guilty. "It is what it is".

Lakers Lair Ep. 13: No LeBron, Big Problem
The Lakers are putting up 112.3 points per game on offense this season while shooting 47.4 percent from the field. In addition to James' absence, Los Angeles opted to sit starting forward Kyle Kuzma due to a back contusion.

Asked whether this would be his final tournament, he responded: 'There's a chance of that, yeah, for sure. But it's not just that, the pain is too much really. "But I'm also not certain I'm able to do that".

Australia to 'carefully consider' Saudi teen's asylum plea
According to Al-Qunun, they forcibly confiscated her passport and she was threatened with deportation. They kept telling me they will kill me if I do something wrong - they say that since I was a child".

"When he was getting ready to go on Thursday night, he's taking memorabilia and putting it into his suitcase so he can have it out there with those people while he's watching the game with them", Tanner's wife, Deb, a math teacher at Skowhegan Area Middle School, said at their home Monday.

The NFL did not reply when asked to comment on whether it has plans this offseason to consider making pass interference calls subject to instant replay review.

Gurley is the former UGA running back who now stars for the NFL's Los Angeles Rams.

But that debate is for later in the off-season.

They have two weeks to correct it.

The Rams, meanwhile, are at least a novelty, having not been invited to the circus since 2001.

It is also worth mentioning that former head coach Bret Bielema is also advancing to Super Bowl LIII.

From the Seattle perspective, fans can embrace the Rams little better than cactus.

The Patriots do not have pinchable cheeks.

The future looks bright in Kansas City and much of that has to do with the fact that Patrick Mahomes is their quarterback and looks to be one of the faces of the National Football League for the foreseeable future.
