France's air safety agency has began studying data from the black boxes of a Boeing 737 MAX plane that crashed in Ethiopia, as regulators worldwide grounded the plane and the U.S. plane maker halted deliveries of its latest model.
A spokesman for the BEA said they wouldn't be announcing the results.
Meanwhile, crash investigators have recovered the black box recorders from the Ethiopia crash and have sent them to Paris where aviation authorities will examine the voice recordings and other information recorded from the moments before the plane came down.
Ethiopian Airlines had said it would work with Boeing, the national civil aviation authority and global experts in trying to unravel what caused the brand new plane to come down just six minutes into its flight.
"As the aircrafts' safety flight risks remain and are unable to be addressed in the short term, and because there is no evidence to prove the effectiveness of Boeing's proposed software updates, we thereby issue this airworthiness directive to ensure flight safety", it said.
The cause of the Indonesian crash is still being investigated.

The MAX 8 and the new version, the MAX 9, can not fly in, out or over Canada and that has caused flight cancellations across the country including here in Calgary.
President Trump had said earlier on Thursday that the United States had to take a "cautionary route" after the plane was involved in two fatal crashes.
USA lawmakers said on Thursday the 737 Max fleet would be grounded for weeks if not longer until a software upgrade could be tested and installed. "The safety of the American people, and all people, is our paramount concern".
The report cited "a person who reviewed air traffic communications" from Sunday's flight saying controllers noticed the plane was moving up and down by hundreds of feet, with its speed appearing unusually fast.
If you're scheduled to fly on a 737 MAX 8 plane, or not sure what kind of plane your flight is on, check your flight status with your airline.
